It's been some time since I blogged! I've been busy lately on some new plans to explore selling Oops!J in more outlets! *excited* So readers, do give me some suggestions on where you prefer to find Oops!J, whether they are retail outlets or online, whether you are from Singapore or somewhere else, we want to hear from you!

Ok, so on a separate note, I'm always extremely grateful to one person who has helped alot in promoting Oops!J from the very start. He is Mr. Keith Png, owner of Hide and Seek, who is now a renowned fashion designer in Singapore. He has just finished the filmming of Fashion Asia on
Channel U and he designs Fann Wong's ROM dress and her bridesmaids' dresses! All thanks to him, Oops!J is getting really popular and in demand. Not forgetting Mr. Clarence Lee, Singapore's top and renowned make-up artist, for introducing Keith to me.

Crystals/beads/whatever that stick on my nails never last long. Such after a day, 'holes' starting showing, which make me very irritated usually. So when Celab Nail suggested that I have full tips extension plus glitter colours solve the problem, I agreed straight away. And amazingly, I never had crystals on my nails that lasted THIS long. And I'm less irritated even when they drop off because the glitter base colour is strong enough tonot make the 'holes' visible.
Glitter colours ROCK!! In case you're wondering what colours are used, they are G11, G04 and G14.

Oops!J DIY Nailart Tips

Hi Readers!

How's your long weekend? I had non-stop singing sessions and had fun trying DIY nailart on my own using Oops!J! I know there are some nailart fans who spend their free time exploring nailart and there are some who are so hooked, they even take a full-time course to pursue their interest further!

While I try some nailart on my own, I realised how difficult this is. Just painting alone I can repeat over and over again just to get the perfect paint texture. So, I decided to just paint on nail tips and stick them on my nails (trust me, much much easier to paint on your real nails). Honestly, if it is not for the reason that I just want to burn some time over the weekend, I will REALLY prefer a nail expert to do this for me.

Tips for Nail Tipping:

1. Get a nail demo stand. You can buy this mostly in nail supplies store. They should cost about $5.

2. Buy a pack of nail tips. Korean-made tips have rather good quality. They usually come in 10 sizes in a pack. Measure the tips on your real nails to get the perfect size to match your nails. The trick is to find the closest so that they look natural and look like they are your own nails.

3. Tools for nailart. You will need a nail file to shape the nails to the shape you want. Buff the surface of the nailtip so that the paint can last longer. Use blu tack to stick the tips to the nail stand. Get ready your desired nail colours, an orange stick and nail glue to stick crystals, sequins etc on the painted nail tip and top coat to finish!

Manicure is as if you are pampering your nails with a facial. Nailart is as if you are putting make-up on your nails. Nailart has been a craze in Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Our neighbours have been promoting the beauty of nail art well. I wonder why is it not so yet in Singapore. Anyway, just sharing some random thoughts with you readers...

Nailz Lab, located at Clementi and Serangoon Gardens, created a really nice set of nailart using Oops!J colours. I think the design is pretty unique to have pink glitter (G15) with zebra prints. In his trip to Taipei with Michelle Chia, they featured Oops!J Salon, owned by Jolin! Celab Nail did another set of nailart for Xin Hui. It is called Guardian of Hearts, which is specially designed for Xin Hui as an ambassador for an anti-drug event. There's alot of meaning behind this set, from the colour combination to the design. Kudos to Celab Nail for this French Mani with 3D Flower Nailart. The skilful nail technician creatively used Oops!J Sweeta 05 as the base and top up Pearly P15 as french tips. The results are actually amazing on its own. But the talented technician didn't stop there and added 3D flower designs and swaroski crytals! Prettiful Nails... Ha!

Vogue Glamour

Honestly, the photos don't do justice to the glitter range from Galaxy and Temptation. The actual product is so so so much more glittery and shiny, especially under yellow lights. I think Oops!J has the best glitter range among all the other brands. It is also so intense, one coat is good enough to see the effects! Perfect for clubbing!
